Hydraloop

Hydraloop saves water and energy and reduces carbon footprint – without compromise on hygiene or living comfort

REDEFINING OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH WATER

Over the past 40 years, the world’s population has doubled and use of water has quadrupled.

Today, about 4 billion people, representing nearly two-thirds of the world population, experience severe water scarcity during at least one month of the year.

Up to 40% of the world’s population will be living in seriously water-stressed areas by 2035.

If we continue doing what we are doing today, by 2040, there will not be enough water to quench the thirst of the world population and keep the current energy and power solutions going.

By 2050, the world population will have grown to 9.7 billion people. Water demand is projected to grow by 55 percent, including a 400-percent rise in manufacturing water demand.

With Hydraloop, you lower both your water consumption and your wastewater emission by 25% to 45%. You also reduce your carbon footprint, because less water needs to be transported to and from the building, and less water needs to be cleaned in wastewater facilities. In countries with cooler winter climates, you also save energy. With Hydraloop, you use water twice – without compromising on living comfort or hygiene.

HOW HYDRALOOP WORKS

Unique water treatment technology: no filters, membranes or chemicals Each Hydraloop device uses a unique combination of sustainable water treatment technologies that ensures the highest water quality, without requiring regular maintenance or doing harm to the environment. Most water treatment systems depend on filters or membranes. They often get dirty and clogged, so they need regular cleaning, maintenance, and replacement. Most water treatment systems also add chemicals to their water treatment process. This can harm the environment.

Hydraloop’s patented technology is consumer friendly, carefree and sustainable. Our treatment process removes dirt, soap and other pollution from greywater without the use of filters, membranes, or chemicals. Hydraloop combines six different technologies: sedimentation, floatation, dissolved air floatation, foam fractionation, an aerobic bioreactor, and disinfection of the cleaned water with powerful UV light.
